What you'll do
- Translate customer application briefs into precise motor specifications — load profile, duty cycle, ambient conditions, target performance
- Act as the technical point of contact between customers and the engineering team through the design cycle
- Support technical scoping calls and specification questionnaires for new enquiries
- Review design proposals against the original application brief before they go back to the customer
- Track open enquiries and specification requests through to a clear next step
What we're looking for
- Engineering degree with a solid grounding in motors, drives, or electromechanical systems
- Comfortable communicating technical detail to both engineers and commercial stakeholders
- Strong written communication — able to turn a rough brief into a clear specification
- Prior experience in an applications, sales engineering, or customer-facing technical role is a plus
